The Fell Club … a unique lightweight camping club for people who do not use private motorised transport at Fell Club meets. Members use camping gear which they carry unaided.

• Open to Cyclists, Backpackers, Canoeists.
• Our Fell Club Forum members only discussion list
• Regular club meets throughout the year at various campsite locations.
• Each member gets four Magazines a year.
• Website with information for member's only, such as a magazine archive, equipment reviews, special offers at selected stores.
• Private members only campsites.
• Members must be 16 or over.

Sad News: Judy

Just wanting to share the sad news that Judy Wright has passed away on Monday 13 October at her care home in Lincoln. Her brother Jeremy and niece Imogen were with her. Judy was 93 years old.

She founded the Fell Club in 1969 together with the late Cyn Bladon, and together they ran the club for many, many years. Her interest in the club and all its members never waned. She was such a humble but trail blazing lady, and will be sadly missed. A full obituary will appear in the Winter magazine. Mike Handley

Judy's funeral was held in St Giles Parish Church, Lamb Gardens, Lincoln, LN2 4EJ on Thursday 13th November.
